Roughly two-thirds of what we ship is made inside a hundred miles of the warehouse — by potters in Seagrove, a third-generation honey co-op in Pittsboro, woodworkers in Saxapahaw, and a tiny tin-and-soap operation outside of Durham. We are honest about the rest: imported textiles and brass come from long-standing partners we visit in person at least once a year.
We do not chase trends. We bring our retailers durable goods, fairly priced, with margins that hold through a slow February.
